From October
5 – 7, 2008, GOLF EUROPE takes place at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre. GOLF
EUROPE is a firmly established platform within the international golf industry.
It serves as a trend barometer and it is Europe’s
largest meeting point for the golfing industry and specialist retailers.
On an area
of 22,000 square meters in Halls B5 and B6 the exhibitors will be displaying
their innovations in clothing, hardware, accessories, indoor golf, golf
simulators, golf shoes and golf sports equipment. This
in-depth presentation is complemented by sections on tourism, literature, golf
magazines, as well as publishing houses.
Also this
year’s GOLF EUROPE promises to be a top-quality event. 285
companies from 26
countries have announced their participation. They include the
following
brands: Back Tee, Bridgestone, Callaway, Chervo, Cleveland, Cobra,
Daily, Dunlop,
Ecco, Foot Joy, Geox, Golfino, H2O, Hi Tec, Honma, Komperdell, Lloyd,
Odyssey, Ogio, MotoCaddy, Ping, Samsonite, Srixon, Röhnisch,
Sunderland of Scotland, Titleist, Tommy Hilfiger
and Yonex.
The products
and innovations presented at the show can be tried out on the nearly 1,500
square-meter large driving range in Hall B5. A range of other exciting actions
and events will also be taking place there: Each day, for example, a longest
drive competition will be held on the public tee. The day´s winners are awarded
a prize at the end of each day.
The
seminar program is being designed in cooperation with the PGAs of Europe, the
focal topic this year being the growing demands in all golfing fields of the
21st century. The lectures will provide information and assistance on how the
golf pro can actively market himself vis-à-vis the club management, the club
members and the customers in the pro shop. Plus each day alternating speakers
will be outlining the future of golf club management as part of the focal theme
at FAIRWAY.
Last year,
the New Product Awards were kicked off – prizes will again be awarded this
year. An expert jury of golf instructors, retailers and trade journalists will
be nominating innovations from all fields of golf. The winners of the award
categories are honored in a ceremony within the framework of GOLF EUROPE.
Participation is exclusively reserved for exhibitors of GOLF EUROPE.
