Accreditation Guidelines
Here you will find the official Accreditation Guidelines of Messe München GmbH.
The following persons shall be accredited:
  1. Persons in possession of identification papers from one of the German trade associations exhibiting at the fair:

    • Deutscher Journalisten Verband (DJV)
    • ver.di (IG Medien; Deutsche Journalisten Union; Deutsche Angestellten Gewerkschaft (DAG))
    • Verband der Zeitschriftenverleger
    • Persons who present an international press pass from the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) in Brussels


  2. Persons in possession of identification papers from trade associations which co-operate with Messe München for fairs.

  3. Members of recognized foreign press organizations (Foreign Press Association, national and state press associations, etc.) (see below)

  4. Radio and TV journalists, production firms who can present an official order from a radio or TV company (original letterhead, no copy).

  5. Journalists
    • who legitimize their status in the form of recent contributions stating their name
    • who present a publication imprint in which they are named as editors, permanent staff members or authors. Authors must submit the title of a recent book and a statement explaining how their work relates to the fair in question.

  6. Photographers who can prove that they are working for the press.

  7. Journalists representing Internet publications who belong to press syndicates or
    publishing houses and whose online publications are established information
    channels for a community served by the fair in question.

  8. Persons who can prove that they work for government agencies or institutions in the press department as well as official spokespeople and press officers from exhibiting companies.

  9. Persons who need press releases for non-profit organisations, e.g. radio for the blind, handicapped associations, etc., as well as officially recognised guides for the handicapped (with employment office credentials).  

All persons who do not fulfil the a.m. requirements cannot be accredited. Moreover, Messe München GmbH can make use of its domiciliary rights at any time.
